On this page we will find the care instructions for many of the flooring products that we supply and install, and each set of instructions is specific to a manufacturer. Floor care in Sydney homes and commercial buildings doesn’t have to be difficult, as long as you have the correct instructions for your type of flooring material.
In general there are three types of flooring that we supply and install – carpets, vinyl and engineered/laminate timber flooring. We will give you a short overview of the general cleaning and maintenance of these different flooring types, but for more specific instructions, please read the manufacturer’s instructions on this page.
General floor maintenance in Sydney homes and commercial buildings
- Carpet floor care in Sydney: Whether in offices or homes, the main focus is on vacuuming up any debris and shampooing to remove any stains. Having your carpet cleaned on a regular basis will keep it looking its best for many years into the future.
- Vinyl floor care in Sydney: The most you usually have to do for a vinyl floor is to mop it with a commercial cleaning machine and it is good to go. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, particularly if you have stained or damaged vinyl.
- Timber engineered/laminate floor care: With any type of engineered flooring it is always best to avoid standing water. So mopping is a great cleaning option, but always ensure that any standing water is cleaned up immediately.
Some manufacturers suggest using certain cleaning products and we will provide you with the specific information you require for your flooring, once installation is complete.
